Road Accident Prediction & Hansard RAG
A dual-component applied AI system. Component A predicts South African road accident severity using Random Forest and Extra Trees ensembles, then trains a Q-learning agent over 3,500 episodes to recommend traffic interventions. Component B builds a transformer NLP pipeline over parliamentary Hansard documents — PyPDF2 extraction, MiniLM embeddings, FAISS indexing, DistilBERT fine-tuning, and a retrieval-augmented generation loop.
